Fédération
Internationale de Football Association, FIFA, is governing body of
football at worldwide issues. Its headquarters is in Zurich and its
president is Sepp Blatter now.
FIFA
is responsible for the organization and governance of football’s major
international tournaments, especially the 1930. FIFA has 209 members, 16
more members of the United Nations and the International Olympic
Committee has 4 more members, however, the number of members in
comparison with the International Federation is less for athletes 5
members.
With
the increasing popularity of international competitions in the early
twentieth century, the need for a single body to oversee and monitor the
World Games was felt, according to the National Association Football
(FIFA) on 21 May 1904 by countries: Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and
Switzerland Founded in Paris.
Accompanied
by a large number of players and limit the possibility of travel for
international matches by FIFA during the World War caused a lot of
problems. The organization was saved from extinction but the British
Home Nations at the time expressed reluctance to participate in
international competitions with their recent World War enemies withdrew
it. FIFA later re-acquired their members. The FIFA collection is held by
the International Museum of Football in England.
FIFA
is an organization that has been established under Switzerland law. Its
headquarters are in Switzerland. FIFA Congress, FIFA’s highest body,
and is composed of representatives of associations of FIFA member
nations. Normally the annual meeting of Congress. Only Congress can
enact the changes brought in by FIFA. Congress, FIFA President,
Secretary General and other members of the FIFA executive committee
chooses.
FIFA
Executive Committee chaired by the President of FIFA important part of
decision-making within the period between two congress. The other part
is the organizational structure of the FIFA World contains 7 or under
the authority of the executive committee or as a standing committee
composed by Congress. Including the Finance Committee, the Disciplinary
Committee and the Arbitration Committee.
